How Humans Were Created

HUMAN EXISTENCE

“So, humans didn’t just suddenly appear. We came from a long process called evolution. Millions of years ago, we shared ancestors with apes. Over time, early humans like Homo habilis and Homo erectus lived in Africa. Then, about 300,000 years ago, modern humans—Homo sapiens—appeared. From there, we spread across the world, learned language, made tools, and built cultures. Basically, humans were created slowly, step by step, over millions of years.”

KSSM DLP Science (Standard 6)

“And yes, this is part of the Standard 6 Science syllabus. It’s under the theme Life Processes in Humans, especially the chapter on Reproduction and Growth in Humans. In school, the focus is more on how humans grow and reproduce, not the full details of evolution. But the idea of how humans came to be can be introduced as enrichment.”
